This policy describes FrameFit: Video Editor for iPhone and iPad (bundle ID com.omniadataanalytics.framefit). It matches how the current app handles information. Editing stays on your device unless you turn on an optional feature that uses iCloud or FrameFit’s server.
Information that stays on your device
By default, projects, imported media, edits, exports, captions, and voice-over recordings stay on the device. The app does not require a FrameFit account or password.
- Photo library. FrameFit uses the system photo picker to import clips. The in-app explanation says that import does not send your media off the device.
- Microphone. The system prompt says: “FrameFit records your voice-overs with the microphone.” Recordings are stored in the project.
- Speech recognition. The system prompt says: “FrameFit transcribes your clip audio on-device to generate captions.” Auto-transcription uses Apple’s on-device Speech framework after the speech model is installed. That caption path does not upload the audio to Omnia.
- Local diagnostic note. The app can store a stage name, build number, and timestamp on the device so you can copy it if you contact support. The app does not upload that note.
- Install identifier. The app creates a random identifier and stores it on the device. It is sent only with requests to FrameFit’s server, described below.
The app does not include a third-party analytics or advertising SDK, and it does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. It does not request camera, location, or contacts access.
Purchases
FrameFit Pro is an optional subscription sold through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple processes the payment. The app does not receive your card number. It reads the signed transaction to tell whether Pro is active. That signed transaction is sent to FrameFit’s server only when you use a server feature that requires Pro.
iCloud sync and sharing
iCloud sync is optional, off until you enable it, and requires FrameFit Pro. When it is on, the project manifest and media files are stored in your private iCloud database using the CloudKit container iCloud.com.omniadataanalytics.framefit. Project sharing uses CloudKit sharing. That data lives in your iCloud account under Apple’s terms. The app does not send Omnia a copy of your iCloud library.
FrameFit’s server
Two optional Pro features contact FrameFit’s server at framefit-broker.omniadataanalyticsllc.workers.dev over HTTPS. Each request includes the StoreKit transaction and the random install identifier.
- Custom Song. The app sends your text prompt, optional lyrics, duration, style, and model choice. The server stores the job and the generated audio so it can return the song to the device.
- AI Director. Depending on the job, the app can upload a proxy video, proxy audio, a transcript produced on device, a description of the timeline, or narration text and voice settings. The default mode uses FrameFit’s own server and your device. You choose when to submit a job.
Those jobs are stored so the feature can run and so usage can be counted against the subscription. Infrastructure for this service is described in the project as a Cloudflare Worker with a database and object storage.
Caption auto-transcription, voice-over recording, looks, and ordinary export do not use this server.
How we use information
- To provide the editor and the optional features you turn on.
- To confirm a FrameFit Pro subscription when a server feature requires it.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To meet a legal obligation.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long information is kept
- On the device: until you delete the project or the app.
- In iCloud: until you delete it, turn sync off, or stop a share, under Apple’s iCloud controls.
- On FrameFit’s server: for as long as needed to provide the feature, count usage, and meet legal obligations. Email us if you want server-side job data deleted. Include the email you want us to reply to and, if you have it, the install identifier or enough detail for us to find the jobs.
Apple keeps its own records of App Store purchases.
Children
FrameFit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We will respond within 30 days. Because most project data is on your device or in your iCloud account, deleting it there is the direct way to remove it. We do not discriminate against you for making a request.
California
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
European users
We rely on performance of a contract when you use the app and request a feature, on legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and enforcing subscription quotas, and on consent when Apple’s permission dialogs ask for the microphone or speech recognition.
International processing
If you use Custom Song or AI Director, the related data is processed on infrastructure we operate. That processing may happen outside your country, including in the United States.
Security
Server requests use HTTPS. There is no FrameFit password to protect. Use a device passcode, and protect the Apple ID you use for purchases and iCloud. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
